Girliest gadget ever!

As a little girl I never was a Barbie fan. I didn’ t really find any interesting ways to play with a doll, so as a lot of little girls do, after I gave my Barbie dolls rock haircuts and “tortured” them, I went on to the next , hopefully more creative, activity. Today I found out that there is a Barbie doll that has gone through a major make-over. The “Barbie Video Girl”! This Barbie doll has a video camera built into its necklace and a LCD video screen on her back. One can record videos up to 30 minutes long (and can even go to Barbie.com to edit them, add effects, etc.) Barbie can be connected to your computer via a pink usb cable!

This Barbie doll is fairly affordable, it costs around $50 and became available just this month. It may not be as sophisticated as an HD sony cam recorder but it sure is a very original one! It’ s time for little girls to take revenge for all the boring toys they have to put with when little boys have remote-controlled cars and constructibles and the such! This Barbie doll won a Toy Innovation Award in this years International Toy Fair in Nuremberg, Germany.

Steal your boyfriend’ s Tee

1. Choose your preferred t- shirt.

I chose this one. A little nautical style is always nice for the summer.

2. Go to your (or your mother’ s, grandmother ‘s, etc) collection of buttons.

3. Choose interesting looking buttons that will add a touch of style to your t- shirt. A nice idea is to choose buttons with a contrasting color or an original shape.

Buttons with anchors for even more "nauticality".

4. Get you sewing kit ready.

5. Time to exercise your sewing talent.

6. Roll up the sleeves and sew them to stay in place. Then, sew on the buttons at the shoulders.

7. You are done!

8. Accessorize if you like.
